For several years Meryl and Marion have owned sheep and worked with wool and natural fibres - dyeing, spinning and knitting, both by hand and machine, either following patterns or creating their own.

So after reading about, and then visiting a mini-mill, they decided it would be a great opportunity to further their skills and provide a much needed service to other craftspeople and small flock holders.

Meon Valley Mill is located on a working farm in the Meon Valley, an Area Of Outstanding Natural Beauty in rural Hampshire.

Your fleeces are treated with care and retain their own identity through all processes in Meon Valley Mill. Individual records are kept on our computer system and updated daily. We always know where the fleeces are in the process and retain details of customer requirements and preferences for future use.

There is no minimum order quantity and small batches of fleeces, mohair, llama and alpaca are all welcomed.

Your fleeces can be custom washed, picked, dehaired, carded, blended and spun to your own requirements.

We welcome visitors, but please ring first to make an appointment so we can give you our best attention and be able to help you with your enquiries.
